Employment dispute resolution is the process of resolving a dispute between two parties in a workplace. A dispute occurs when individuals or groups of employees disagree about something and the matter or matters remain unresolved. In most situations, minor disputes can be resolved within the workplace through internal processes. For those situations when the dispute cannot be resolved internally or requires a more formal approach, workplaces or employees may choose to engage IR Advocates to support in the resolution process.
We may also be engaged to support businesses in developing a more mature process for Internal Dispute Resolution to provide employers with fair, confidential and transparent processes.
IR Advocates can assist in resolving disputes:
- facilitating meetings such as performance reviews
- supporting negotiations
- supporting mediation meetings.
Employers also work with us to create or improve their processes for internal dispute resolution to improve employee engagement, reduce management costs and reduce possible workplace stresses.
